Having a Grey Moment

It's Winter and I am feeling miserable. I am not happy with the view from my window, i can't see anything which might lift my spirits a little or compel me to write something interesting. The birds in the garden are obscured by fog which I loathe. I find its greyness bleak and negative and all rather pointless? What purpose does fog serve? Pah! I can't find anything nice to say about it......and it's raining rain not cats and dogs which would have been nice.

Only Time Will Tell.

Gosh, welcome to Blogger Land! Been wanting to do this for sometime but to be honest have been a bit scared to venture into cyberspace. I know there's only 3 stages to go through to register but this kind of thing seems to take an eternity. The bit which always stumps me is 'blog title'. I find all the titles I want have either gone or are unacceptable to the site. I hope Life Goes on will be a suitable blog name, indeed I hope my blog will go on to grow and maybe, possibly viewed by a few passerbys. Time will tell.

I've always enjoyed reading and writing ever since I was small. I used to create little story books which I used to read at night by torchlight. I use to love visiting the library and bringing home books of Fairy Tales and Sam Pig and Just William just to name a few. When I was old enough to have pocket money I would buy one Enid Blyton Book a week, I was absolutely obsessed with the Famous Five and the Mystery Books Series. I in particular loved Frederick or Fatty who appeared in the latter. His ability to fool the public with his disguises, to outwit the local constable and to solve local crime with the help of his gang totally blew me away. I guess, fiction kept me happily entertained until I became a teenager. But that's another story.
